Embarkation in
Boppard on the Rhine river
(left Rhine river side) from 1:30 p.m., departure 1:45 p.m., boat landing
stage no. 14 Viking River Cruises, about 75 m downstream, north of
Kaiser-Otto-Strasse and about 20 m upstream, south of Burdengasse. Boat trip to Oberwesel along Kamp-Bornhofen with the "Feindlichen Brudern" ("Enemy brothers") castle Sterrenberg and castle Liebenstein,
Bad Salzig, Hirzenach, Wellmich with castle Maus (mouse), St. Goar with castle Rheinfels, St.
Goarshausen with castle Katz (cat) to Oberwesel. From 3:45 p.m. to 7:10
p.m. stay in Oberwesel and possibility to visit the wine festival on the
Market place. At 7:10 p.m. the boat trip continues to St. Goar with castle Rheinfels
and St.
Goarshausen with castle Katz (cat). Here the boats gather together for the boat cruise
parade along the bengal lighted Lorelei rock to Oberwesel with bengal lighting "Night
of the thousand fires" ("Nacht der Tausend Feuer") from the town wall,
towers, churches and the castle Schonburg, musical big firework "Rhine in flames /
Rhine aflame". Seat under deck, starting 6:00 p.m. live music and dance. The
fireworks can be seen from the open air or upper deck. Return in
Boppard on the Rhine River about 11:45 p.m.
After the firework about 10:15 p.m. disembarkation in Oberwesel possible.
If you disembark in Oberwesel, return with the boat to Boppard
not possible.
Before the round boat trip possibility to participate in
the wine festiva in Oberwesel. Embarkation in Oberwesel on the
Rhine River (left Rhine River side) from 6:55 p.m., departure
7:10 p.m., city boat landing stage no. 2. Round boat trip to St. Goar with castle Rheinfels
and St.
Goarshausen with castle Katz (cat). Here the boats gather together for the boat cruise
parade along the bengal lighted Lorelei rock to Oberwesel with bengal lighting "Night
of the thousand fires" ("Nacht der Tausend Feuer") from the town wall,
