Delivery, payment and cancellation conditions for boat tickets

The paragraphs 1 to 4 are only valid for round boat cruises to the Rhine River Lights event (not for round boat cruises to the firework displays Rhine in Flames).
The paragraphs 11 to 102 are valid for all round boat cruises.

Group discounts for round boat cruises to Rhine River lights

1. From 15 adults and teenagers from 16 years 5 % free place discount for bus driver and tourist guide on all boat tickets.
2. After issuing a bill, cancellations of boat tickets from 25 EUR will be charged against the granted group discount of 5 %, so that after issuing the bill, cancellations up to 5 % of the number of people are not possible any more and after issuing a bill, the group discount of 5 % is initially not applicable.
3. For boat tickets up to 24.99 EUR cancellations up to 5 % of the number of people after issuing a bill are not possible because of the marginal calculation.
4. An additional 5 % online discount is granted if
4a) the option from 15 people for the round boat cruise to www.mittelrhein-lichter.de is applied for with a online request form (not per e-mail, fax, in written form or per telephone), AND
4b) the advertisement of the bus trips is registered by oneself without our request to do so contemporary to the option on this internet site:
www.mittelrhein-lichter.biz/ausschreibung-eintragen
This way, the advertisement can be published free of charge on the internet site www.busfahrt.de, additional groups can book without brokerage fee from company with the option and thereby a better capacity utilization of the bus is reached AND
4c) the status of bookings is reported 6 months before the event takes place every month by the end of the month with this online form:

(please also see no. 13 concerning the report of the booking of status).
5. There are no discounts on boat tickets for children up to including 15 years.
6. Group discounts for groups from 15 people to another firework event upon request.

Options for groups from 15 people

11. Options for groups from 15 people are only valid after written confirmation by www.germany-travel.net Agency Rita Hermann GmbH.
12. Options with a free cancellation are possible on request until a maximum of 8 weeks before the beginning of the event for groups from 15 people. Even after expiration of the time period for a free cancelation (8 weeks before the beginning of the event) there is no fix date, from which cancelation fees are charged, if the list of up-to-date bookings is lower than the option. Thus, there is no fix option time period that would automatically cause cancelation fees or cause cancelation fees without consultation.
13. The status of the bookings has to be reported by the owner of the option starting at 6 months before the beginning of the event with online form:

The status of the bookings also has to be made, if the status is “0” or very low.
14. In addition to the reported status of the bookings, the option can be decreased or, if availability is provided and after agreement, increased by every contractual partner free of charge.
15. The bill will only be issued if the fixed reported booking status to www.germany-travel.net Agency Rita Hermann GmbH has reached the minimum number of participants for the realization of the bus trip.
16. The bill will only be issued for the confirmed number of bookings (not for the additional number of people included in the option.)
17. Payments are due until up to 8 weeks before the beginning of the event.
18. Bookings made later and within 4 weeks before the beginning of the event are only possible with debit entry permission or credit card.
19. The payments have to be made before deadline without any further demands. Otherwise, the event manager has the right to give away the boat tickets to any other clients.
20. The boat tickets will be sent out after complete payment about 3 weeks before the beginning of the event.
21. The arrangement of the tables on the ships is done according to the group membership about 3 weeks before the beginning of the event. That is why a coherent placement within the group can not be guaranteed for additional late bookings within the last 3 weeks before the event.

Cancellations after issue of the bill for groups from 15 people
31. Cancellations after issue of the bill must be made online by using this cancellation form www.formular.rhein-feuerwerk.de/stornierung.
32. After bill issue, cancellations of boat tickets from 25 EUR in granted discount amount will be charged against the granted group discount, so that after issuing the bill, cancellations up to the granted discount amount are not possible any more and after issuing a bill, the discount is initially not applicable.

This means for example if 4 people from a group of 40 people cancel, a request for a credit is not necessary because cancellations of up to 5 % of a group will be set off and not credited.

33. For boat tickets up to 24.99 EUR, cancellations up to 5 % of the number of people of the group after issuing a bill are not possible because of the marginal calculation.
34. Cancellations made above 5 % by a group from 15 people after bill issue:
Cancellation from 8 to 3 weeks before event date: 50 % of the rate will be retained. 50 % will be refunded.
Cancellation from 3 weeks before event date: 50 % of the rate will be retained. 50 % of the rate will be credited for another round boat cruise of the same our operator within the next 12 months.
Cancellation from 48 hours to 3 hours before event date: 80 % of the rate will retained. 20 % of the rate will be credited for another round boat cruise of the same tour operator within the next 12 months.
35. Cancellations from 3 hours before the departure of the boat are not at all possible. The return of the boat tickets at the point of ticket sale, at the boat landing stage or when boarding the boat on the date of event is not possible.
36. The cancellation conditions from paragraph 31 to paragraph 35 are valid, if, after the bill has already been issued – no matter for which reason – a partial cancellation of the boat tickets is requested. There is no exception if some of the guests have had to cancel the boat tickets because of illness. In case of illness, it is recommended that guests close a travel cancellation insurance.
37. Instead of a partial cancellation after the bill has already been issued, we recommend to use the following "private resale form" within 8 weeks before the event takes place, in order to resell the boat tickets privately online:

From 14 days before the event takes place, we recommend to use the following "last minute form" in order to resell the boat tickets privately online instead of making a partial cancellation after the bill has already been issued:

The boat tickets that are offered for private resell on the "private resale form" as well as on the "last minute form" are offered on the relevant firework round boat cruise internet site. The success rate of the private sale depends on the date of the event, the early registration in the online form(s) and price discount.
Starting at 3:30 p.m. on the day before the event, no more registrations are possible on the internet site. Upon phone request, the cell phone number of the seller / bus driver / tour guide will be passed on so that he / she can resell the boat tickets directly at the boat landing stage to the buyer against cash payment.

Bookings for single people or small groups up to 14 people

41. Upon booking with credit card or per debit entry permission, the complete payment is due as soon as you use the online booking form and will be collected as soon as the tickets have been sent.
In case debit entries are charged back to our account (e. g. you didn't have enough money on your bank account) and for which www.germany-travel.net Agency Rita Hermann GmbH is not responsible for, for example if the current account is not covered or you have specified incorrect account data, we will charge a 10 EUR handling fee in addition to the bank fees (usually 8 EUR).
42. Upon booking per cash on delivery (up to a maximum of 14 people possible), the complete payment is due as soon as you use the online booking form. Bookings per cash on delivery are possible up to 2 months before the beginning of the event. If a cash on delivery will not be picked up at the post office in due time or returned, 20 EUR cash on delivery return charge will be payable. This cash on delivery return charge will be also payable, if the boat tickets will be cancelled.
43. For prepay bills for groups of 14 people a processing fee of 10 EUR will be charged.

Lost or misplaced boat tickets for single people and small groups up to 14 people

51. Lost, misplaced or boat tickets accidentally left at home can be issued again and sent per mail or e-mail - in urgent cases also faxed. Independent from the number of people in the group, this will be charged with a single handling fee of 10 EUR.

Change or cancellation for any reason after booking for single people and small groups up to 14 people:

61. There is no distance selling contract for boat tickets as per § 312b BGB (German Civil Code) possible. That is why a two-week right of withdrawal is not possible. After you have received the booking confirmation from www.germany-travel.net Agency Rita Hermann GmbH, every booking is binding and commits you to accept and pay for the ordered boat tickets.
62. Cancellations are only possible online by using the cancellation form. Cancellations made by phone or any other cancellations which were not made by using the cancellation form, cost an additional service fee of 30 EUR in addition to the corresponding cancellation fee.
63. The table arrangement for groups up to 14 people is mostly done right after the booking has been made. After a table arrangement has been made, it is not possible to cancel one single boat ticket at this table. If so, only one single boat ticket would remain unsold at this table. One single boat ticket at one table is virtually inalienable and can therefore not be given back.
64. In case you change your booking to a different name, 10 EUR is due.
That is why we advise you to not change your booking to another name, but instead just give the tickets with your name on them to another passenger.
65. If a cancellation is made up to 68 days or more before the event, 15 % of the total price (+ service fee and delivery fee), but at least 20 EUR, is due in case the cancellation form has been used (otherwise + 30 EUR according to article 62).
That is why we advise you to use the free "private resale form" to privately sell the tickets online to someone else instead of making a cancellation.
66. If a cancellation is made from 67 to 31 days before the event, 50 % of the total price, but at least 20 EUR, is due in case the cancellation form has been used (otherwise + 30 EUR according to article 62).
That's why we advise you to use the free "private resale form" to privately sell the tickets online to someone else instead of making a cancellation.
67. If a cancellation is made from 30 to 15 days before the event, 65 % of the total price, but at least 20 EUR, is due in case the cancellation form has been used (otherwise + 30 EUR according to article 62).
That's why we advise you to use the "private resale form" (handling fee 10 EUR) to privately sell the tickets online to someone else instead of making a cancellation.
68. If a cancellation is made from 14 to 8 days before the event, 80 % of the total price is due in case the cancellation form has been used (otherwise + 30 EUR according to article 62).
That's why we advise you to use the "last minute form" (handling fee 10 EUR) to privately sell the tickets online to someone else instead of making a cancellation.
69. Cancellations from 7 days before the event are not possible any more. Please use this "last minute form" (handling fee 20 EUR) to privately sell the tickets online to someone else instead of making a cancellation. 
70. For each change within the last 30 days before the event, a handling fee of 10 EUR is due.
